I would take all of the Descriptors but make it clear to your GP which ones you would expect to score points for so they can decide whether to comment on the others or not.

It used to be the case that making a complaint would potentially delay your appeal, but this is no longer the case, I suspect the volume of complaints about assessors no longer make it practical.

When the DWP receive notification of your appeal they will prepare their submission for the hearing, this will include all of the papers used in the Decision and details of the assessor and their qualifications.

Information about making a complaint is on the following link.

When you receive the DWP "bundle" you can prepare your own submission, you need to concentrate on why you should score points by showing that you meet the Descriptors.

Hello again

I have received the bundle of papers.
It says to submit my response and any new evidence to have a copy for all parties.
Does this mean I have to send in two copies of the GP notes that have the chosen descriptors ticked and stamped by my doctor ?
Also I am waiting for a report from my specialist, should I send in what I have now or wait for the report to arrive ?
Do I send original copies or are photo copy's ok ?
Am feeling very inadequate and nervous now.
I have not had any response from my complaint to Atos or from my MP, not surprising considering the election I suppose.

Anything else you think I can send in that would help ?

Many thanks

You send a single copy of the papers (not the originals) to the Tribunal Service and they will then copy them and send copies to all of the parties, including you.

If you have asked for an Oral hearing that you attend then you can submit information for your appeal up to seven days before the hearing, there is an advantage to sending all of your information in one packet if you can as it allows you to present a coordinated view of your problems. Sending things in piecemeal tends to detract from this.

So I would wait for the report to arrive.

Just to remind you, you'll only get the award you want by showing that you score the points for it, so this must be the focus of your activities.

Hello to all
Just a quick update. I have now sent in all my papers to the appeal court. The Rhumatology report has not arrived in time for the 28 days so can I take it in with me to submit on the day ?
Many thanks for all the help
Kind regards to all

Send the report now with a covering letter.

If you submit evidence on the day of the hearing you risk it being excluded as there will be no opportunity for all parties to have sight of it.
