MR PIP confused

MR PIP came through and award has stayed the same but instead it's ongoing which I read is indefinite.

I phoned up the DWP and they said they're very confused as ongoing is like 10 years but my claim is still showing as renewal process in March 2020.

Hopefully they've just made a mistake and that the award is 2020. Don't want it renewed before then!

Update: The DWP PIP team advisor told me that ongoing means 10 years and won't be reviewed until 2027 and will get case manager to change the length on system.

Case manager called- they can't change the system and not trained in this area so e-mail PIP MR team to ask them to call me.

I think they've made a mistake of 10 yrs as system says 2020 but just want to get this sorted and find out.

Will say my MR says ongoing and advisor said 2027.

The case manager came back saying you felt suicidal over this? Come on, it aint that bad. Charming. And then proceeded to say she had made a tiny mistake with my MR that she agreed was set in stone and stated ongoing and said ah well, I will just send out another letter saying 2020 for a review. Before I could question anything she was like okay bye bye!

Thank you. The case manager has adjusted the award to 2021, basically changed the MR by adding in the dates. I have made a formal complaint to the DWP as they told me 10 years and the original MR says 10 years. I now effectively have 4 MR decisions and is so confusing!
