The PIP Appeal guide has links to the SSCS1 form that you will need to complete and the Submissions guide has a complete example that you can use to help you fill it in, you do not need to provide detailed reasons at this stage for your request.

Once your appeal is accepted the DWP will prepare their submission to the hearing and send you a copy, whilst you should wait until you receive this to finish and submit your own, you should start to prepare your own case, an increased award will only be made by your showing that you score the extra points for one, so I would start by going back through your PIP2, the assessment report and the PIP Claim guide to see how you might show this is the case.

If your husband works more than 24 hours a week then that would preclude you from receiving any ESA(IR) payments.

This just all seems so strange, a person living five minutes from us has been in prison for two years, gets his house paid for. He has his child living with him because his wife is drug addict. Claims child tax credit, child benefit, and I know he has never worked. I had never been out of work until a Doctor stopped me paid in all the time and I get nothing. Who the **** designed this system. I give up, the whole system just seems so broken to me! 23 years paying in, never worked, doing drugs, bringing up a kid get paid and a house to boot. Fairness gone mad, and don't understand the system. Seems so unfair, thanks Gordon you have been a great help, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I just don't get this system. Thanks

The Tribunal Service should acknowledge your appeal in 7-10 days. A hearing is probably 3-4 months, once you have received the DWP submission, give the TS a call for an update on waiting times.

Still waiting, and it will probably next year before my tribunal. Quick question Gordon, I have marked a few people's topics as favourites, is there any special place I click on so I can find these topics. Thanks
