I am looking through the PIP guide. There is one thing puzzling me. I have read somewhere that a satellite navigation system is not classed as a specialist nav.
But reading Q13a you state ''specialist navigation systems, for example a satnav built into a Motability Scheme car''
I have a satnav in my scheme car is this a different type of system?

Thanks
The jury on this is still out as in their has not been any Upper Tier Tribunal Decision on this area, my understanding is at odds with the guide, in that I don;t believe that a satellite navigation system installed in a disabled car would by definition be a "specialist navigation system".
At the moment I believe that it is down to the claimant to argue the case if it is of assistance to them or if it is not then I would not raise the issue.
