Hi Gordon

I just recieved in the post a letter from ESA I am in support group and when I rang DWP a few weeks ago my next review is not before Sept 2018. It seems the letter is regards, changes you have reprted or something like that and then says about payment up to Nov this year and as always includes the Christmas bonus. I find this strange as I have already had one of these letters this year, now this new one today is dated 2 days after my PIP decision was made ? I know you have said many times the two are not related but both myself and others I know have had this happen too. I cannot help but think something flags up on the DWP system when a decision re either PIP or ESA is made.

thank you

DLA and PIP can affect a claimants ESA payments by enabling the payment of several Premiums, it's likely in connection with this that the letter has been sent.

The DWP seem to send these letters even when nothing has actually changed so I would not worry about it.

Thank you again Gordon. I am on CB ESA so no premiums for me. Although this may change at some point in the not to distant future, I am just not sure how as yet.

A lot of these letters are sent out in error or cumputer generated. So don't worry I get the same for hospital appointments two letters for same appointments.
