According to your previous posts you are just over two weeks since the assessment so I would expect you to hear this week or next with luck.

So three weeks now of waiting to hear the letterbox go with the brown envelope drop on my mat I would imagine if it's taking this long it means it will have to go to mandatory reconsideration if it was straight forward I guess I would have had response by now or a phone call asking more questions but I haven't so we will see but I have all papers ready for mandatory reconsideration so will send it straight back will let you all know how it goes

The time before a Decision is made is not reflective in any way of what the Decision will be, just the height of the pile on the Decision Maker's desk.

So waiting for pip letter it finally arrive on my mat this morning I thought here we go the dreaded brown envelope so opened the letter it was just to say that they had now got all the information they need and. Will be in touch with there decision I hadn't got to do anything else which to me is yet another knife twist but I thought ok well it will be over soon then less than 30 minutes after opening the letter I get a phone call it was dwp she asked if I was ok to talk I said yes anyway they were trying to establish at what date all these other things had happened last year and why I didn't contact them sooner she was very nice about it all but said at the moment she is going to speak to her supervisor that at the moment they have given me high rate of care and low rate of mobility which. I was only getting low rate care but which I will get the letter next. Week sometime but she was going to ask if they would consider high rate of mobility too. If not then if I felt I should be awarded higher rate of mobility just to call them and do a change of circumstances as she thought I should be on high rate for mobility so the problem is about the back pay and when my conditions was diagnosed as if I had this 3 months ago and longer they wouldn't accept I had it. For. All. That time so wouldn't get back pay until then not sure what they are talking about but am glad it will be finished soon as I am drained with it all but would like to say a big thank you to Gordon. And everyone on the website I don't. Know for how long they have awarded me for but I will find out next week will let you know all I can say to you all if you have all. The paperwork to back it up keep on fighting I know. It's hard when you are ill but it makes a difference to your. Quality of life and everyone on here. will help you with all the guides

Congratulations on the award.

PIP has a requirement that a claimant must have suffered from the current limitations for at least three months, from your post it sounds as if there questions were about this.
