Question before f2f
Anyone answer me this after assessment is finished can I ask assessor to read back to me every thing in his report so I know he hasn't missed anything ? Or made up something that never happened ? Or is he going to say he writes his report up later if so how can I be sure what he Is saying is correct as last face 2 face I had was just fabricated and when it came to mentioning my medication he said that my medication was mild and would have no impact on my daily life yett when I went to tribunal the doctor spoke first and said you are heavily medicated aren't you I said well I know I am and so do you however that is why I ask you to dismiss atos report as assessor in his own words said medication I was on wouldn't affect me at all just trying to find a way to make sure they put right things in I wish I would have purchased a twin deck cassette recorder now

You can certainly ask, the guidance issued to assessors says;

2.6.49 Prior to concluding face-to-face consultations, HPs should give claimants an overview of the findings they have taken from the consultation. Claimants should be invited to clarify any points, ask any questions they have about the assessment procedure and if there is anything else they would like to say before they leave. The HP should answer any issues or concerns they express.

F2f interview yesterday so got to atos office to be left sat waiting for 10.30 appointment
Finally called my name 20 minutes later which I wasnt happy about then have to walk past maybe 5 empty rooms and she says the office is right at the end of this corridor so had to walk past all the rooms that were empty it's just a game to these people took the assessment log off here downloaded it so I could put in any comments a couple of closed questions like I'm sure if you went to shop and something you bought was 7 pounds you would know how much change you would get ... anyway that was only maths question lol also they never asked me to remember 3 items till. They asked me them later also no other. Adding questions either. So assessor was a nurse she was polite enough ( but hardly looked up from screen she was typing on then came to examine me next so moving foot and leg told her wouldn't do anything that was going to cause me pain she said ok. I have had operation on hand a few weeks ago I said to her you and can see swelling she agreed could I make an o with finger and thumb I said well I could but if you knock it I will be upset as it still hasn't healed fully and is painful then it came to my shoulder ( I need a complete new shoulder but as of yet surgeons won't give me shoulder replacement) so she said can you raise your arms I said sorry no I can't so she said is there anything for her to see with my shoulder ? So I said well just scars from last surgery but you can't see the hole in my shoulder but you have the X-rays I sent them she still wanted to see so I then struggle to take coat off for her to have a look (what a waste of time) I said but you. Have my surgeons reports which I sent and the MRI scan I had results from that then she asked about my copd and went out to find a spirometer so I could blow into that to check my levels asking who diagnosed my copd Then don't know why she asked about hobbys when I went out which I don't asking if I had any family or friends I said no I don't so she sounded like she didn't believe me so I said yes I did have a sister but she died this last year and then I start to cry it all became too much finally after being there an hour and twenty five minutes it finally was over I was exhausted and in pain but I got through it I think it takes its toll on you having to go over and over the same things so then before I left I said are you sure you have everything down correctly as last assessor missed some things out that were important she said I could ask dwp for a copy but it wasn't complete yet as she had yet to. Sum up what I said after I had left She would then type the rest of report up so to ask dwp in a couple of days hope this helps some of you yet to go through this process now just have to wait for brown envelope then I guess I will have to go to mandatory reconsideration as I expect I will have to go to tribunal again too as it doesn't seem to matter how much information you have from gp consultant physio surgeon I couldn't have possibly given them any more evidence so I will wait and see now
