Home visit without requesting it. was created by mmpkelly1
Hi,
I returned my transfer to PIP form on 5/4/17 & today I received an appointment for a f2f at my home on 11/5/17. I do need a home visit but didn't ask for one on the form as we forgot! Has anyone else had this?
Thanks.

It's not that unusual, it shows that the Assessment Provider accepts you have a high degree of limitation sufficient to warrant them offering a home assessment.

Thankyou Gordon, would it be wrong to infer that might be a positive thing? Clutching at straws perhaps! The b&w guides helped so much with filling in the form. Regards to all who design & moderate this website.

In general it is a positive thing, but the Decision will be based on your PIP2 and the assessment, so I would not read too much into it.
