esa appeal got a call instead !

the other day my partner got a call from esa as we had put in for appeal and waiting to go to court, call came and said rather then take it to court could ask a few q over the phone and he would put it 4wrd and call back later once the board had seen it and letter sent so partner gave permition for myself to do it , Q where just a few things like how far can he walk, meds etc. few hrs later he called back to say he had been awarded esa and put into support group for 3 years. e got max points for the mobility side that pushed him to get it. so much stress went out the window and very happy , we are still waiting for the appeal now for pip mobility side as he only got 8 points and they didn't give him anything for section that esa gave him, what I want to know as esa called him so it didn't go to court im wondering if pip will do the same and do they converse with each other as there both dwp and if pip found out his now ben given full points for mobility in esa they might call and do the same .fingers crossed they do or just take esa results anyone every had this done to them or know if its possible . just waiting now to see with everything crossed. thanks for all your help getting him through esa now its pip to get through

the letter from the esa did say he could only walk between 15 and 20 m and that's how he got the extra points to get into support group so as he only needed an extra 4 points to get advanced I think with his extra proof from an hospital apt we are waiting for we are sending we will send the esa letter as well. fingers crossed he gets the 4 extra points as needed. thanks for your advice
