Hope u are all well if someone can give me abit of advice , my career spoke with my local Mp to see if anything can be done when my pip is due for reassessment next month , to try and prevent what happened last year the stress and anxiety caused me to attempt suicide , she asked if a home assessment is an option and because of my illnesses I suffer with paranoia and psychosis and don't let anyone in my house apart from my carer and cpn - she spoke to dwp pip and was advised it's not up for reassessment yet but when it is she can request for a paper based review she said to wait until I recieve the form and then she can action it , is this possible ?

I'm afraid your MP has been given incorrect information, I'm not saying that it won't be possible to arrange a paper assessment but it will be down to the Assessment Provider for your postcode to decide whether one is possible or not and whilst they must take your health and the risk to it from the assessment process into account when making their decision, their primary concern will be whether they can write a reasonable report on your limitations based on the information before them.

I would still get in touch with your MP when the form arrives, but I think they are going to have to work a lot harder than they expect to be able get you a paper assessment.
