What can be used as evidence in pip appeal? was created by Roisin Hudson
About to appeal loss of PIP. GP will provide letter of support but no expert no expert on MS and main issues for him is my depression. Seeing MS Consultant on Wed but, due to her being off sick, it has been over a year and therefore not sure how what she can provide. Main contact was MS nurse who I saw every 3 months but she has left and no useful info or support seems to be coming from that direction (limited notes left). Can I use letters from family members who provide care to me - eg my husband and parents?

You can but they may not carry the too much weight. If you have any old reports (two or three years old), then these be more effective. Tribunal panels are used to claimants struggling to get up to date evidence so providing you can show that your old report are still applicable to your conditions as they are now or indeed you are worse, then these should help with your appeal.
