PIP Assessment was created by Flowerpower70
My son has a PIP assessment on the 12thMay and I have a couple of extra pieces of information, a Dr's letter and Scan appointment not sent with the original forms. What address do I send them to hoping they get there in time for the assessment. I can also take copies with me but from past experience at the SDA assessment the assessor refused to look at x rays I took.

Send it to the same address as the assessment venue, but I would also take a copy with you on the day and ask the assessor to read it all and include it in son's file before they return it to the DWP.

Thank you. I am planning to take a recording machine (two tapes) with me this time after complete lies written at a previous assessment. I doubt it will make any difference though. The system just seems to be designed to remove all help from everyone who really needs it.

Got the recorder all ready, new tapes and battery but it's too heavy for me to carry. ;) Never mind I'll just trust that this person is 100% different to the DLA one.

I am daring to hope that this assessment may be a true assessment of my son and he keeps his mobility car. The woman Dr WAS 100% different to the other one. I can't remember her name but she put my son at ease, and me, straight away and my son was totally himself. She said she had worked in paediatrics for years and that is the way she spoke to my son. I know that some of these people put people at ease simply because they think they will drop any pretence but my son was more 'how he is' with her than the last woman. I'll let you know once I know.
