Interesting result reversal

Hi;Thought you may be interested in my recent dealings with dwp/atos for transition from dla to pip. I filled in all forms in my capacity as an appointee, I requested a home visit on grounds of both physical and mental health difficulties. This was eventually agreed after they did a risk assessment. Home Visit 10th March ( a nightmare). Decision received 20th March, they had found that the higher award for daily living was not applicable and downgraded to standard( based on assumption and incorrect reporting). Complaint sent to ATOS about the Health Professional and Mandatory Reconsideration requested. DWP received my papers 18th April and had made decision by 20th April, it had not changed. I had issues with DWP whilst this was going on and so a complaint was raised, I also found interested typos in the reconsideration form and was told by one dwp person that it was a cut and paste mistake and very quickly by another that it was just human error ( I add this to the complaint). I decide to request a comprehensive SAR, they receive this and sign for it on 28th April, then it disappears( it has now been found). As this is going on I fill in Tribunal application and I am about to post it on the 10th of May, when I receive an answer to my ATOS complaint, advising me that I am not impartial or qualified and likely I do not understand the guidelines that they follow , but they have changed their original report. I receive a call from DWP advising me that they have reversed their decision and awarded enhanced and so the claimant is now back to enhanced for both daily living and mobility making a tribunal unnecessary. You couldn't make it up. Moral of the story; perseverance and dissect everything they send you, question everything and follow the guides on this site.

I am also having a terrible time with them. I requested home visit as had one previously ..they declined..sent further evidence from my doctor requesting home visit...received a text last week for me to call and arrange appointment to be told it was a mistake and my girl had to forward the text by email.along with a few strong words.
my records have since been updated and I am on a list for a home visit when available. Totally shocking..as you say Couldn't make it up !
