Hi to all,

After an over 13 month wait to be re-assessed, my esa reassessment was cancelled.

an assessor wasnt available to assess me !

you couldnt mek it up if you tied!

I was furious and expressed my view to the appointment canceler about this sham.

Its mental torture.

Now i'm having to go through the waiting again.

Mr F

You should consider making a complaint.

They might not be much help at the moment but you should also consider involving your MP.

ps ...gordon,

would i make a complaint before or after the assessment has been completed?

in fear of retaliation from the assessor on the day?

also i had phoned up the CHDA (MAXIMUS) and said it been over 12 months since i sent back my esa50 form to them.

they replied i could send updated information, as in a change to my health, to them or on the day of assessment.

to show the changes to the original esa50 form.

i was hoping maybe if i send of info to them!

then just maybe they would spare me the f2f, and just accept what i had sent to them?

Mr F

You are not making a complaint about a specific assessor so I don't think it will cause any problems, but if you are concerned then wait until after the assessment.

If your conditions or more ore importantly, your limitations have changed then you should definitely send details to Maximus about this, as it could tip the balance on whether a face to face is required.

I would recommend that you still to the format of the ESA50, so Mobility Problems first, etc.

If you do still need to attend then take a copy with you and ask the assessor to reads it and include it in your file before they return it to the DWP.
