Hello, I am waiting for my PIP tribunal, I sent in the appeal back in Oct 2016 and received all the paperwork to say they had received it but am still waiting. I'm just wondering how long other people have been waiting for their Tribunal dates, is there like a current approximate waiting time, at the time I appealed I had read that it was about 6 months, clearly, that figure is now higher.

Contact the Tribunal venue they should be able to tell you waiting times, although there are some areas that are having considerable delays, I would have expected you to have a date by now.

Have you sent in your submission to the TS yet?

Thank you, it didn't occur to me to contact the tribunal, I have sent in everything to the TS and some additional evidence from my doctor, I will see if I can contact the tribunal venue next week.

Hi, I have been waiting 24 weeks in south east Dorset. I have spoken to HMCTS twice. First time they said tribunals were running at 22-23 weeks in my area. Second time, they said it changes from week to week and they can only give a rough estimate, not an accurate time scale. Basically, it is a waste of time phoning them. I was told to ask in writing for my tribunal to be heard as a priority and to give reasons why. I did not get any PIP, moving from HRM & MRC on DLA. I have lost my Motability car, the care component money and I have had SDA removed from my ESA. This means my monthly benefit payments have dropped by around 55% and I can no longer afford any of the help and medical supplies I need. I think it is disgusting that it takes more than 6 months, after waiting 5 weeks for my MR result too. My DLA ended last October.
