ESA and permitted work was created by Summer17
Is anyone claiming ESA and doing permitted work? Have you had any problems from the ESA advisors about this? I was doing some temporary paid work while waiting for my claim for ESA but none of the advisors told me about this. Thanks.

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
If you are working while claiming ESA then you must notify the DWP of this, depending on the work that you are doing; the hours and the money, the DWP may decide that that you are doing Permitted Work, but if they do not then your claim may be closed.
So if you have not already informed the DWP then you must do so as soon as possible.
Also, be aware that the fact that you are able to work, PW or otherwise will be considered when you are assessed and assumptions may be made as to your capabilities as a result.
