Hi, I am in the process of changing from dla to pip, my com is giving me help to fill in the form tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone on here has had luck with the change over regarding their mental health diagnosis. I've heard a few stories of people being took of it.

We have had lots of members be successful with their PIP claims due to mental health issues, but it is important that you understand that it is not the conditions themselves that are being reviewed but rather the effect they have on your ability to complete your daily activities.

Hi yes i also have bipolar I changed from dla to pip and got enhanced care but only for 2 years so reassessment after 12 months , like Gordon said it's not the condition but how it effects you , good luck !mines due next month so understand the stress and anxiety x

I have Bipolar and the change from DLA to PIP went really smoothly much to my suprise.
