The thing is, every april, as a recipient of an occupational pension, I send at their request, proof of that years pension income from old employer.
This year the old employer was really late in getting these statements out, so although i notified DWP of delay, I only just sent statement from old employer in, so above certificate will be wrong.
Do I need to do anything or will DWP amend this and send me an updated P60 form-ps i send pension statement and dwp form in recorded signed for delivery.

Does your pension affect the amount of ESA you receive and was there a change this year that would have resulted in your ESA changing?
If there is no change in your pension from last year then it won't be a problem.
If there was a change but it does not effect your ESA payments, then the DWP don't need to issue a new P60 as they do not deduct tax from your ESA.
If there was a change that does effect your ESA then they will certainly update your ESA payments, but they may not issue a new P60, leaving it till next Tax Year to sort out. It is likely to depend on the amount of the change.

Yes, it increased slight increase in amount.
It will affect my ESA payments, civil service pension, on my bank statement went up to £548.75 when paid at the end of april, the previous one at the end of march was £543.14.
Given the change will affect my ESA and I won't be given a new P60, is there anything that I need to do at this stage to make sure im paying the right amount of tax and getting the right amount of ESA, which should go down slightly.

As long as you have notified the DWP in writing then I would just wait and see what they do.

if your gross pension is the same it shouldn't affect esa. because they work from your gross amount not the net.
