My husband is getting a home visit on Friday he has a social phobia I don't know if he will be able to speak to the accessor at all will I be able to speak for him behalf I'm his appointee he hasn't had certain members of his family to the house for over 20 years never mind a stranger the doctor has doubled his medication for this home visit i.e. Propranolol , Diazepam

If you are his DWP appointed appointee then yes, you can speak on his behalf although the assessor will still look to him to reply.

If you are his DWP appointed appointee then yes, you can speak on his behalf although the assessor will still look to him to reply.

There's a section at the back of the PIP claim guide that has a list of the questions that you he is likely to be asked.
