I have been told I have an award and have got the report before the award letter. Looks like I am 1 point short of enhanced care . there are some areas where I can argue I was under pointed but a local advice agency has told me by phone to be careful as it opens the whole award to be changed. In actuality is this very likely ?

The DWP will review the whole award even if you ask them only to reconsider the Daily Living component and this means that that they can add and remove points. We haven't seen anybody have points removed for several months on the forum, but it does happen and it can lead to an award being removed.

As you have a three point buffer the risk is somewhat reduced, but you should still have a look at how you scored and how robust you think the Decision on each activity is. Also, how realistic are the extra points you need for the Enhanced rate, for some activities the differences between the Descriptors is small for other it is quite large and for some the higher Descriptors are awarded for different reasons.
