ESA reconsideration was created by kez
hi, I put in my reconsideration 8 weeks ago by the sixth week I rang them only to be told that my reconsideration has been missed on the computer and because of this it has not being printed out and sent to the correct dept, they printed off whilst I was on the phone although forgot to print GP letter and had to remind them before they sent it, just my luck. They said I would get a decision from the department to whom they sent my reconsideration to within 10days,it has been 10 working days tomorrow and still heard nothing
Do the DWP send spy's out to watch you in during the reconsideration stage ? over the last week and a bit I have noticed 2 different cars parked 2 doors up the first car a Renault clio with one male in a suit that seemed to be just sitting there as if he was texting. the second car today with 2 males in suits just staring into thin air with all the windows closed 20deg here and engine off for 10mis whilst they were there just looking as if they were writing something.,
I have not been able to claim JSA in the meantime as technically I am employed on long term sick, so not claiming anything at the moment apart from some council tax benefit.
My 7yr old daughter who is disabled was granted a DFG grant and we are having the work done at the moment. I have gone outside for a few minutes to see how they are getting on and then my partner helps me back into the house.

Do they watch you during a reconsideration when you are claiming no DWP benefits ?
Thanks in advance

I can assure you that the DWP do not surveil claimants during an MR.

If the 10 days have elapsed then I would feel free to contact the DWP again about your MR.
