HI,
Referring to correspondence we hold from the DWP my partner PIP is due for a review from today 1st June 2017 1 year into his 2 year award I just wondered if you knew how punctual they are at sending out the paperwork at present as I want to ensure plenty of time to complete.

Based on what we see on the forum they are accurate to a week or two.

Hi, PIP AR01 Review form arrived on 12th of this month due back by 1st July so as you say you do not really get a month to complete.Anyway I am putting together all my info, supporting evidence etc accordingly and just wanted to check a couple of things.
I sent a report of changes letter to DWP at the beginning of the year reporting worsening of partners health but received no response although I called and they confirmed it was on there system . I will obviously refer to this letter within my review completion but should I send it again and or the supporting evidence? I also wondered how long does it take to receive a response from the review?

I would not send the letter again, you do not want to create any confusion as to when you notified the DWP of the change in his conditions, but I would include the evidence with the AR1 form, that way you can refer to it on the form and you will also have no doubts about those carrying out the assessment, seeing the information.

The review form is looked at by the same people who review the PIP2's so you will be stuck in the same queue. We've seen a marked increase in the time for this part of the process with times going from about 3-4 weeks to 7-8 weeks and even longer in the East Midlands which is a Capita region.

Hi Ya, Just wanted to touch base to say we are in our 8th week of waiting on our PIP review and my partner continues to worsen with physical and emotional health . We are in the East Midlands area so are you saying we may have to wait even longer than the 2 months we have already waited? It really is a most cruel process . Technically we have waited 8 months for an update as we wrote stating changes to hid condition at the beginning of the year but they chose not to respond.:-(
Should I contact them to see his current status or simply wait....

It can't hurt and they may be able to give you an idea of wait times.

We're now advising 12-16 weeks and the East Midlands could easily be another 4 weeks on top of this.

If your husband's conditions have deteriorated and this affects his ability to complete the PIP activities then keep the DWP and Capita informed, you never know they may switch to a Paper Based Review.
