Thanks GONZALO

There are three routes to being placed in the SG, the ESA Claim guide explains all three.

Hi Gonzalo, I took Gordon's advice after waiting 18 weeks on the DWP getting back to me after I sent in the ESA50 re-assessment form .. I emailed Maximus who promptly replied saying my form had been received & was being reviewed by a Health Professional who will contact me at a later date with the outcome of their decision ... So I'm still in limbo as to what's going to happen ....

I am pleased to report that due to your wonderful guides I was able to enter the face to face fully prepared for the priorities and subtle traps. The health care professional was courteous and was willing to listen without the feeling that there was any time restraint.
There were certainly some leading questions but your guides had prepared me for those.
I have been placed in the support group again. The automated four page letter informing me was confusing as only a few lines were applicable to my situation. There was no mention of a timescale for the award. Thanks to all who responded to my post.

Congratulations on the award.

ESA Decisions do not include an award length, you should be able to find out when you are likely to be reassessed by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim, the prognosis from the assessment report is usually used to set the date on the ESA computer system.

Thank you Gordon. Am I right in thinking that the ESA award ends when I receive my state pension in two years time? If so are there any other benefits that would be available at that time?
