jobseekers and pip was created by Angela armstrong
When I got my pip in January 2016 I was getting esa in April 2016 I hadon't a f2f interview and was told I wasn't eligable for esa so I signed on for job seekers allowance. I must job search every day which is crazy because I don't feel I can work at the moment . I have explained this to my work coach who is very sympathetic but obviously cannot change the rules. I am now in a position that I will have to reapply come December will being on jobseekers make a difference. My doctor is happy to put me on the sick but I can't bare another f2f interviewe and being refused again . I'm stressed to death with it all . I suffer from severe psoriasis depression and anxiety .

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

Forgive me but I am confused by some elements of your post.

You cannot be found Fit for Work without attending a Face to Face assessment, so was your ESA stopped due to a technical failure; not returning the ESA50 or failing to attend a F2F?

This is rally important! If you failed for technical reasons then you can make a new claim for ESA without restriction but if your were found Fit for Work then a new claim for ESA will only be accepted if you can show a deterioration on your original conditions or a new condition reasonably likely to result in an award. If you can't show this then your ESA claim will almost certainly be rejected.

If I have misunderstood your question then please reply to this post and we will try our best to help.

I have just checked my paper work and after the face to face interview for the esa they decided I was fit for some work in the report they acknowledged the illness I had but said I showed no signs of it on the day . I rang for a mandatory reconciliation and still go nothing although I disputed some of the things that were said as things I had never said . Anyway I signed on so at the moment I get 55.10 per week plus jobseekers plus a monthly allowance of pip all in all I get around 800 pounds per month. I'm not sure what to do next . I can get sick notes but my condition is the same except now the doctor has offered me beta blockers for severe anxiety which I will get but he's at the moment checking that they may make my skin condition worse . Thanks for your time it's much appreciated.

Thank you for the update, that makes more sense.

If you have had an MR and this did not change the Decision then your next option is to request an appeal.

The PIP Appeal guide has links to the SSCS1 form that you will need to complete and the Submissions guide has a complete example that you can use to help you fill it in, you do not need to provide detailed reasons at this stage for your request.

Once your appeal is accepted the DWP will prepare their submission to the hearing and send you a copy, whilst you should wait until you receive this to finish and submit your own, you should start to prepare your own case, an increased award will only be made by your showing that you score the extra points for one, so I would start by going back through your PIP2, the assessment report and the PIP Claim guide to see how you might show this is the case.

If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
