Hi Gordon I refer to an question from JM1970 I read this with interest as you know I am filling out the pip form at the moment as well and I find the form having very little lines on each page to describe the problems I am having with the conditions and then they tell you cont on q15 and to be honest it looks to me all over the place.I would doubt a medical person would be reading an answer to q4 say and then he/she would flip over to the back pages and a4 paper to read all of the stuff I would write. So I like the idea that jm1970 suggested and you said you done the same, although I did not see in the guides about the way you would or should write out the answer like the way jm1970 is going to do and you suggest doing this at the start of each answer. Now I am worried my form is a mess up..do you think I could get them to send me out a new one and the answers would look better typed to as when i write I tend not to keep things tidy. sorry for the long question

I think it is very easy to start second guessing yourself when you are completing these forms, so much hangs on the outcome that we start to doubt what we are writing! Being practical, do you really have time to start again with your form, it could easily take another 7-10 days before you might actually receive a new form and you will may not get an extension to then complete it.

What we write down the first time is often the most accurate, although not always the best phrased :)

I would concentrate on completing your form and get it sent in on time.

Yes indeed Gordon thats what I am for doing and forgetting about it until they get back to me.
I am at the very last question Q14 now I am in a bit of a pickle with it.So I was kept in the ESA S/G less than a year ago and got the medical report for that I had no f2f,the HC person wrote The med3,questionnaire and medical evidence suggests the client cannot moblise 50 metres repeatedly etc etc owing to my medical conditions.I was the only person that made ref to the walking as it asked me I kept it to 20 metres(but there was no mention of that 50 metres from me nor my consultant did not mention it in his report either.

But this time around I told my consultant on an appt how things where with me and he saw the problems with me that day as walking is pretty bad now,he mentions 20 m in his report now and the difficults I have and confirms this is in line with my condition.

I am thinking I would like to include the recent ESA85A as it is from their medical team,my problem is how do I word a sentence or two to unlink the HC words on 50 m,as I know how important this is.
Last question when a HC goes through a PIP form and a claimant scores 12 pts in the early stages do they stop at that and go to q13 and 14 then, and was DLA always looked at by HP for a decision .

The distance that ESA looks at is 50m, we do sometimes ESA reports mention a shorter distance but not often.

So you need to balance your latest Consultants report against the ESA one from a year ago. There is a danger that the wrong report will be used but this has to be balanced with the ESA report providing a backstop to your walking.

How good do you think the latest Consultants report is? Can it stand on it's own? If you think it can then consider leaving out the ESA report.

Yes Gordon I think I will leave it out and just go with the consultant report and I will just give my views on what way the walking and stopping etc in the 20 metres affects me,some days I could not even do 10 .Thanks Gordon for your help in the past few weeks I will let you know how things go

Hi,I got an email yesterday from yourselves and was reading through it and was interested in reading the part ( PIP roll out behind schedule) and it goes onto to read that however,we reported last month that there had been a hugh fall in the number of DLA to PIP cases being sent to Atos and Capita since January of this year.

Does that mean the DWP D/M are looking through the PIP forms and dr s report etc and making their decisions on that ,are have I got that wrong. Thanks
