ESA 50 etc

Hello friends, sorry I know this has almost certainly been asked before. Please forgive me...
I recently sent in my completed ESA50 in early May 2017 with tons of supporting information .I checked that they have received it.
How long should I expect to wait for a decision? Any rough ideas please?
Or is it a matter of how long is a peice of string? I live in the North aeast if that makes an difference.

Thanks so much...I am fed up and worried.I had a home medical for PIP earlier this year so I am hoping they might use that information in my ESA case...I realise that may not be the case.

I have been religiously trawling this board for just this answer.

Sons application ESA50 in by 6th April, still no info re F2F. However, he did get a letter about a month ago to say he will get SG etc until Nov 2017. The letter was a mix of all sorts and did not state anything clearly. It followed 2 other letters roughly saying the same but not mentioning Nov 2017.

Perhaps this is clear evidence of the delay and some people are officially being pushed back, even if they returned their ESA50.
I imagine we are going to have to do the whole thing all over again in November

Hi all, I sent my ESA50 reassessment form back in early Feb, it's now been17 weeks & I've heard nothing back from the DWP... I live in Scotland & although I believe there's delays I am still a bag of nerves when I see the postman in my street wondering if a letter from the DWP is going to drop through my letterbox ... The added stress of not knowing if or when they will contact me is really making my mental health condition worse...Contacting the DWP is not an option as I can't express myself very well so every day is Groundhog Day till I get word one way or another...
