Hi. My husband went all the way to tribunal for his DLA to PIP transfer and was refused and given no points. He has Bipolar Affective Disorder, sleep apnoea, chronic renal failure and asthma. What I am wondering is, does anyone know if the DWP look at previous decisions when an application is sent in? We have had carer's and severe disability premiums removed from our ESA award (I'm disabled too), and are really struggling financially. Going through the tribunal affected my husband's bipolar very badly, so I don't really want to put him through the process again, but I feel I have no choice. I would be grateful to hear from other people who may have been refused at tribunal, but applied again and were successful. Thanks.

They may look at his previous report but the claim will be reviewed on his current problems.

There have been changes to the PIP Descriptors and guidance since he was last assessed, so make sure that you use the current PIP Claim guide to help you complete the new claim form.
