Can anyone advise? If someone has been scheduled a WCA for PIP and one for ESA within 4 days of each other is there a process to just get one WCA or are they considered separate processes entirely?

I'm afraid they are completely separate processes, the assessment for one of the benefits cannot be substituted for the other.
