I have had my medical assessment and I'm now waiting for my decision letter, but today I had a phone call from them asking for the people who helped me fill the form out which is fine no problem there. But this afternoon I had an another call the decision maker asking for the actual date when my pain progressed which I gave but I'm now stressing and my anxiety is through the roof thinking that something is wrong. I just need to know if this is common practice for them to call the claimant up on the day they are making a decision (her words). Any calming words would be greatly appreciated. Thanksz Sarah
It's unusual for them to call, but less so when the claimant has reported a change., from what you have posted they are trying to confirm when the change occurred, PIP requires that the claimant has suffered from their current limitations for three months.
