Thank you Gordon, we will do - just very shocked that the points are all 0, and the initial assessment was covered until 2018.
Will be in contact.

Hello Gordon,
Tommy3's report has finally come back. It is totally wrong. What is the next step please, for the mandatory reconsideration.
Doing your PIP test, his points are 38 and 20 - yet they scored him 0, very confusing.
Regards,
Tommys partner

Hi Tommy's partner,

This is what Gordon said in a post on the previous page -

The first stage to challenging a Decision is for you to request a Mandatory Reconsideration, this needs to be done in writing to the DWP, within one month of the Decision, to the office that dealt with your claim, have a look at our PIP MR & Appeal guide for details of the process, the PIP area also has template letters that you can use to make the request with.

Regarding the points, or lack thereof - DWP and the assessors typically score much more harshly than the claimant. In particular, points will not be given for anything the claimant chooses not to do, only for things they cannot do. This is sometimes a case of phrasing things differently to make it clear that having help is a matter of necessity rather than choice.

It's in the PIP mandatory reconsideration and appeal submissions document

Hi there,
Have submitted a mandatory appeal, was told it would take 4-6 weeks. My partner rang yesterday, and was told that there is no time limit, sounds like it's still sitting in the ever increasing pile.
This is such a stressful time - my main claim is mental health related, but since the start of the recall a year early, have been in hospital twice with chest pains. I am so stressed out by this all. Not sure I can go through the appeal stage. I know they will decline me at mandatory appeal stage. Just a game to them, that I cannot play.
Is anyone having the same issues.
Thank you
