My son is paranoid schizophrenic and has been sectioned 2 years ago.since he came home he has had major psychosis and believes he's part of an alien super elite,i am the devil, and other horrible terrifying things.he's broke my ribs twice.he came every day as a diffrent person.a world war 1soldier,a yorkshire farmer, the devils son,he's been down a rabbit hole and seen the new world order.he will not speak to anyone except my ex partner who my son thinks is jesus.he sees messages everywhere.the CIA are outside his house day and night as are the FBI.birds talk to him and give him messages.he does not wash dress sleep or eat my ex has to go round everyday.my son talks to the devil and will not see the psychiatrist...he was scared of my son after he raged at him he was working for government so he was referred bk to the doctor who he has not seen since my son saw him and was very aggressive towards him.the doctor warned him so now he just sits in the dark rocking back and forth or sleeping.he has gone out at night in a mania and been beaten up by gangs and robbed of his clothes and trainers.he has gone walking into his nxt door neighbours demanding they leave immediatly as they are being spied on and their house is going to blow up at a certain time.an alcoholic neighbour leaves cans of special brew outside but my partner has to get it for him just so he can sleep.he cant pick any packaging up so cannot cook.my ex goes every day for over 5 hours just to get him up or clean up and cook food for him and does all his shopping.and he has to listen to the ranting of how the devil is sitting in the corner laughing.i could go on and on and ive had a nervous breakdown because of the things that have gone off.i love my son but am terrified of him and his super human strength.the police often come to say he's been found wandering barefoot miles away and he has no recollection to as how he got there.hes very vunerable and a great danger to himself and others but they wont section him.hes now given my ex government documents that prove they want to take him away...its a renewal form for PIP.he cannot even look at.he does not trust it or anyone or anything.we dont know if my ex can fill this in.the only mecical stuff to back up his the repeat prescription page and his doctor and psychiatrists name thats it.where do we start.im sitting crying as i have no idea how to help with this form at all and its got to be in by the 3rd july so we have 2 days to sort this all out.im begging anyone out there than can offer us some help or any help at all.i feel like killing myself all over again.thank you for reading this.

Hi . I just wanted to say how sorry I am to read your post and that if its any help at all I have been through similar as a carer. It is absolutely terrifying and having police involvement must also cause you a great deal of anxiety. For me in the end though it was the police involvement that finally meant help was given and a wonderful psychiatrist on the secure ward was finally able to help. Nowadays we live with the condition and I know the stress points that could cause a relapse. ...one of which is dealing with these ridiculous forms from the DWP etc.
For many years I felt I had been abandoned but a place that really helped me was a Carers Association. Just knowing there was someone there and also being able to attend meetings where other families shared their experiences really helped. I wondered if there is anything like that near you and if so please try to get in touch with them. I hope too your son has got the right medication for his illness which would help enormously.
I do hope you are Ok as it was a while ago you posted this.
Warmest regards. X
