Hi, My wife is thinking of making a new claim as she as recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and the affects on her health are not good
The second reason is she as borderline personality she was taking medication on her first assessment, but it stated on her letter because she had not got cpn or mental health doctors she lost points , she as had a traumatic life to say the least and lucky to survive some of the things she been through , I was there the day there came out I took time of work , she was in a terrible state the man was going to stop the assessment, she was afraid scared and carried on , he marked her down on taking a sip of water , it’s only on reading the forum she is thinking of a reassessment, looking back we missed so much out of the form , she excepted the result because she was afraid and thought at the time they stop it altogether she on marol , amptrityline , nitrazepan , aspirin , blood thinners , omerprazale , pregablin , all which effect her ability and day to day life

I can't really comment, just think about where she might score extra points, this is all about the PIP Descriptors.

Help I have just seen the news regarding mh , or should we ask for a change in circumstances, is there any way to point us in the right direction

The news about PIP and mental health only effects the Going Out activity, none of the other activities are effected.

I'm afraid my advice remains the same, can you reasonably see how your wife would score higher?
