Can I leave the country for more thhan 30 days? was created by Inspector
My wife and I want to go on an extended holiday to celebrate our retirement but I notice the DWP says they expect to be asked? I receive PIP and OAP from 1/7/52. I don't understand their interest in whether we go for 4 or 5 weeks?

It's because some benefits are no longer payable if you are outside of the country for more than four weeks.
