PIP re assessment was created by goose1
I have been receiving PIP since 2015 and I was awarded it for three years until 2018.

A few weeks ago, I received a form asking if my condition (bipolar disorder) had changed etc, and I sent it back within the time limit.

Today, I have received an appointment to be assessed on July 20th. Depending on the outcome of this I may or may not continue to get PIP.

I am very worried about this and quite scared. I don't know what I'll do if they stop my payments. I do get ESA but that won't help with bills etc.

What can I do to prepare for this ghastly ordeal please? Any advice would be good.

Thank you.

At this stage of the process there is little extra that you can do, providing you have again shown that you meet the criteria for an award, then there should be no problem. See the PIP Claim guide for further information.

There are currently significant delays in the PIP assessment process so it could easily be another 12 weeks or more before you hear anything more about your reassessment.
