Latest update.

Received dreaded brown envelope this morning. My mandatory consideration was successful.

They have awarded from the date it was stopped but they have not specified a date it will end. Is this normal?

Kind regards

Latest update. I received the dreaded brown envelope. Opened it with an immense amount of anxiety.

I have been rewarded at a higher rate than prior to what I was getting before they stopped it. So thank you all for your advice and guides, they are truly amazing and can't recommend enough to others that they should subscribe to be a member.

There is only one thing about my award that I don't understand. There wasn't any date outlined when my award will stop.

Kind regards

Congratulations on the award, well done.

All PIP awards should include an end date unless it says that it is "on-going", which is as close to indefinite as PIP does. If it does not say on-going then you should contact the DWP.

Thank you Gordon. It says for an ongoing period. When you say indefinite, does that mean they won't reassess in the future at all?

We don't know how the DWP will handle on-going awards! PIP has not been available long enough for these awards to be looked at again.
