There are considerable delays in the ESA assessment process across most of the country so it could be six months before there is any decision on whether you need a face to face assessment, the good news is that your claim remains in payment until a new Decision is made.

I had my reassessment 4 weeks ago just heard back I am no longer entitled to ESA support, nothjng has changed and I had been claiming for several seconds years, I am also a carer for my daughter, get help from a cbt councillor, I am at present seeking help to do a mandatory reconsideration, looks like I will only be able to claim Carers Allowance, I will be less about £100 a week spending money, if anyone else is in this situation please please let me know if you have any advice as what to do

Margaret, I had a F2F for my ESA CB 7 weeks ago, then got a phone call on Friday 14th Jul from DWP informing me that my ESA was being stopped, I was in the Support Gp. My wife and I were going on holiday next day. I informed them that I will be putting in a MR, my ESA CB (£28.33p per week) will be stopping in Feb 2018 when I am 65. I am 70% War pension disabled (nothing heroic) and on War Pension Unemployability Supplement losing my ESA doesn't effect it. However, my Housing Benefit was stopped so I have to reapply for that.
