Hi to all of you, brilliant website/forum.

Our son is just short of 19, he has Severe learning differculties & Autism, we have received the PIPS Doc's...its that long since we did the DWP its all a haze once again. Is there anywhere we could be pointed that will assist us, whilst filling out the form. Its a hard enough life as it is at the moment, with out all this again.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

I would start be having a look at our PIP Claim guide on the following link

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip

If you have any specific questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.

We provide sample answers and a formula for the claimant to provide their own, it's not practical to provide more than as every claimants situation is unique, only they will know how they are limited in completing the PIP activities and why this is the case.

Just in ref to my last post, the P1003 I quoted is what used to be entitled the PIP2 form, the designation seems to have changed. I have seen the 'SPECIMEN' form on the gov web site, but it's marked not for use. I'm considering scanning the one sent to me, filling in, then printing off, do you think that would be OK. I'm in a mess here. I can't write by hand.
