What is Prospect of A ESA Re-Assesment Deferral?

Hi

I read Gordon's reply recently about ESA Assessments taking up to 6 months with Maximus.
Could that mean that re-assessments are in tbe back burner again or doesn't that follow?
Mine is due in October and as of today, tbe date is unchanged. Could it still defer even now?

Thank you

A

Hi Augustus,

We have heard from members who seem to have had their reassessments deferred. However, there has not been any official confirmation of this. I'm afraid it is a case of 'wait and see' again :(

Hi i had my ESA medicial Sept 2016 and was placed in Wrag which im ok about and was told that i would have a re assesment this September had my wfi this morning and was told my next medical re assessment is now next Sept 2018 no one told me i rang the dwp up and they said it was right its now 2018, my original claim was for 18 months backdated to March last year which would make it next month all very confusing and no one seems to know whats going on but at least the pressure has been eased for a bit.

I was due in jun 2015 and waited till jun 17 by which time i knew id been deferred.
This year, when july passed, i started to relax, thinking id been lucky to be deferred till 2019 but the day after i got this scary white unpleasant envelope and a pink form inside and had a bad dream this morning after waking up and going back to sleep.
