I have this disc recording me having a seizure as 999 services were called. Is it appropriate for me to play it at tribunal. I would have to take a casettle player along. And would I need to inform them this was something I was wanting to do. I will ask my neurologist to put something in writing confirming it is a seizure. The ambulance service have put something in writing confirming the recording comes from them. I am wanting to show the confusional stage to my seizures and this is a good examples.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Write to the Tribunal Service asking to play the disk.
If it is a disk how are you going to play it, transferring it to tape may cause problems as you can no longer certify the contents, although this may not be an issue.
Be aware, on the day the panel may have no interest in hearing the recording.

Hello Gordan
I was planning on taking the disc and a cd player so it is played direct from NHS disc, alongside letter from NHS and my neurologist - if panel wish to hear it. I will write to the Tribunal Service and ask about playing it if it seems helpful to do so. Would it be appropriate to send the disc in when I write to them and let them decide if they want to listen to it as additional evidence?
Many thanks

You need to send a copy of the disk for it to be admitted as evidence but you should also provide a transcript of what is said.

Thank you Gordan
I have more than one copy of the disc, both sent to me from the NHS who have been very helpful, so I will send one copy in with transcript of what it says, plus letter from NHS backing up it comes from them and letter from my neurologist
Thank you for your help
