My classically Autistic 30-year-old son has gained an enhanced award across Daily living and Mobility. the award is stated as ongoing. DWP guidance on PIp within page 60 states in such a situation where from birth and no possibility of an improvement. "No Further Assessment"
Google this Ongoing I came up with a ten year period of re-assessment. I would expect that the guidance is framed on the relevant legislation but cannot find any reference to this. So which is correct - the PIP gudance of no further assessment or Ongoing.
I am requesting an MR because he has a high level of Personal Assitance support defined by a statutory objective multi disciplinary assessment via Mental Health Measures within Wales. Failed to score in several areas at the correct level when scoring maximum in other and where scoring maximum has a direct effect on each of the other descriptors. I am including this Ongoing statement in the MR.

The PIP legislation does not define what a an "on-going" award is, this is down to DWP procedure. However, whether it means no further assessment or an assessment after 10 years is moot as the legislation does allow a reassessment at any time and for any reason, so there is no way to oppose a reassessment if one is required.
