change of circumstances was created by Amy
Hello all, this is my first time so please excuse any mistakes i may make.
I was awarded pip 6 months ago higher for care lower for mobility, however my mobility had deteiroated and i can not now walk the distance that i had originally been able to. What i want to know is 1 how do i tell pip about this? and 2 ive been told theres a chance my claim may be lowered if i make a change? i have a letter from my physio stating i cannot walk more than 20 metres with out being in extreme pain...would i send this to them and just wait?
I have looked on here to try to find a answer but maybe im overlooking it.
Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Hi Amy, Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

You should write to DWP and tell them that your condition has worsened. It won't hurt to send a copy of the physio report with your letter. However, you should expect to undergo a full reassessment, including another form to complete and possibly a face to face assessment.

It would be worth having a look at our PIP guide so that you will be prepared when the time comes.
