Right so the first thing I do is send the SSSC1, and the when the DWP have been told they will send me all the the paperwork related .. I was told today that When I send the SSSC1 I should be putting in reasons and any evidence, Is that not the case only I've been trying to find anything that as not already been submit & there is nothing

The PIP Appeal guide has links to the SSCS1 form that you will need to complete and the Submissions guide has a complete example that you can use to help you fill it in, you do not need to provide detailed reasons at this stage for your request.

Once your appeal is accepted the DWP will prepare their submission to the hearing and send you a copy, whilst you should wait until you receive this to finish and submit your own, you should start to prepare your own case, an increased award will only be made by your showing that you score the extra points for one, so I would start by going back through your PIP2, the assessment report and the PIP Claim guide to see how you might show this is the case.

Gordon ty I understand now, People including the DWP have said I need to give my reasons when Sending the SSCS1. You see the 2 copies of the MR decision, One had 5 pages the other 4 hence I phoned and said I'm a page light ! They are not identical as one only needs to be 4 pages ..it was as clear as pud when explained So I send the 4 page one, it does sound somewhat Abbott and Costello but I can now put it to bed over Christmas
Thank you again Gordon

You will need to give your reasons for the appeal, just not detailed ones. See the example SSCS1 in the Submissions guide.

Hi, well sent SSCS1 form in as said got a reply saying theyreceived it on the 11/12 /17. Not had a Bundle or anything from DWP. I thought I was supposed to get a bundle with in 28 days I have had nothing is this normal, Should I Phone and find out what’s going on Or will they just say it was sent that’s my way of thinking with these people. Will the appeals people have the bundle even if I haven’t or is 28days just a guild ...Thank you Al any advice would be very much appreciated
Is there a time limit on submitting the appeal hence me worrying about this 28 day to get bundle to even start the appeal

Contact the Tribunal Service about your not having received the DWP submission yet.

If you have opted for a Paper hearing that you will not attend then you will have one month from the date on the letter accompanying the DWP submission to complete and send in your own submission, however, if you have asked for an Oral appeal that you will go to, then you will in practice have until 10 days before the hearing to send in your information.
