Hi,
I am a 62 year old woman and have been in the support group (contribution ) for 5 years now, I have just received the appointment for another face to face assessment. Although nothing health wise has changed for me I am desperately worried about what will happen if they decide to take me out of the support group. I can't find any information on this anywhere and so many things have changed for claimants. I realise this question may have been asked many times but i don't know how to access topics. I would be most grateful for your advice.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
You say you have had an appointment for a face2face assessment. Have you already completed a new ESA50? If so, you should have a look at the information in this link
Invited to a face to face assessment but no ESA50 sent
I suggest you have a good look at our ESA guides as some of the descriptors have changed in the past year or so. Any decision to remove or reduce your ESA as a result of this reassessment will be subject to reconsideration and appeal if necessary.
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa1
Once you have done that, please return with any further questions.
May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your ESA without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it helps us enormously - and I hope you will find it useful too
