Do Maximus phone if you've not given your number? was created by Asbo
I've not given them my number but worried the DWP might have. I've had some local-ish calls recently and no messages left. I checked on Google if they were spam but nothing came up. It coincides with around the right time I'd expect to hear from them but I asked them to contact me in writing because I get anxious on the phone. It's making me really nervous

Maximus may be trying to contact you with a short notice appointment, you do not need to take these calls (or the appointments), they are required to notify you in writing of any assessment date.

Thanks. That's what I was worried about. Yes, I asked them to contact me in writing and have a doctor's letter to support me for a home visit. If you've asked to be contacted in writing and not given a phone number I find it's just intimidation but I know that they do it and if it is them they must have got my number from the DWP from ages ago

Update - one of the numbers tried again this evening at 8 pm (no message) and I've blocked it. Would Maximus try at this time does anyone know? Thanks
