Is it standard practise for the DWP or the ESA Medical Assessors Service to notify GPs of any of their patients who are claiming ESA and to inform GPs of any imminent Capability Work Assessments appointment? It it is or it is not standard practice is it legal? It appears that this happened in my case.for some unknown reason.

It depends on what yo mean by "notify", if you mean contact your GP to tell them that you are undergoing a reassessment, then no they do not do this. However, if you mean that they contacted your GP for information about your problems then whilst not usual, it is normal practice.
