My ESA Tribunal was adjourned earlier this year and is being rescheduled. However, it has been stipulated that my new tribunal should be heard by a District Tribunal Judge, rather than a 'normal' Tribunal Judge.

Why are the possible reasons for this?
My best guess is that you case revolves around matters of law rather than the ESA Descriptors as written, so there may be one or more UTT Decisions that are relevant to your appeal and a District Judge is considered to be more able to deal with the issues.
