Additional evidence for MR and appeal

It is not necessary to submit additional evidence for an MR or Appeal.
I realise that it is not always possible to collect every scrap of evidence before submitting a PIP2 form and often a decision is made before any extra, relevant evidence can be obtianed.
If, however you have submitted all your relevant evidence in the first instance, thus presenting your best possible case, there is no need to try and add what effectively would be padding.
If you haven't received the award that you think you deserve, then maybe the problem is not with your evidence but the way you have presented and explained it.
An MR is your chance to try and explain and clarify why you deserve an award and to add any late, relevant, evidence.
I have read many times here and else where that claimants hold a piece of evidence back so they have something new to present to the tribunal if necessary.
The tribunal takes a fresh look at all the evidence without the bias of the DWP, there is no need to feel that you have to supply even more new evidence to justify a tribunal hearing.
If you present your best case, at the eariest stage possible of your claim, the more likely you are to avoid having to go to tribunal. By presenting your best case you should avoid the extra stress of trying to find even more evidence. The tribunal is independant but they do need to see all the evidence to come to a fair decision, they don't need to read pages of padding.
Clarity over quantity, put yourself in their place, which would you prefer ?
