I called Dwp bust now and they said I've been awarded pip at erc but only 4 points mobility. I have ADHD, depression, anxiety and panic attacks. Assessors report did state that we told her I don't go out alone not just in case of psychological distress but because I get distracted and confused especially if no ones with me and there's changes to routes or anything really that's why I don't go anywhere alone. Is it worth I ask for mr? Will it affect my erc like the old days when they look at whole thing again? I used to get the low rate mobility on dla!!! I'm relieved yet disappointed at same time
An MR allows the DWP to re-make the Decision this means that they can add points and remove them, the latter does not happen very often but it does happen and you need to consider this before going ahead with a challenge.
You also need to consider the likelihood of you receiving the extra points for a Mobility award. At the moment you appear to have scored for
b. Needs prompting to be able to undertake any journey to avoid overwhelming psychological distress to the claimant. 4 points.
To score higher based on this you would need to meet
e. Cannot undertake any journey because it would cause overwhelming psychological distress to the claimant. 10 points.
At the moment your problems with following a route are not considered serious enough to score you any points.
