Pip renewal question was created by Steven
Hi I got the review letter asking what's changed a year before my claim award was dew. I want to know what are the f2f chances and if you have no change like me on everything how or can the award be lost if you got full for both after the original f2f pip claim.

Also I would like to when i send it back do they keep you on it until the real end date (sep 2018) or is it extended for the same amount of time (3 yrs). And if it's just keeping me on until the 2018 date after that time comes do you have to make a whole new claim for pip and re do the whole application again like day one?

Hope you can answer these questions as can't find the info anywhere. Thank you

We don't have any statistics on this all I can say is that we have seen members invited to a face to face when they have ticked "no change" to all of the activities.

The review will result in a new Decision which will supersede your existing award and will likely take effect from when it is made. If a new award is made then it will include a new End Date that will replace the 2018 one.

Thank you.
So just to be clear there in theory should be no need to re apply as originally as long as they keep sending out them how things changed forms?

I remember hearing something about no need to ever reassess those with permanent conditions that can't improve? If so is that actually happening as my condition is permanent and docs letters even say no other surgical options available and can only treat with pain med.

The AR1 form is still relatively new and we have not seen anybody go through a second Review process yet so it's unclear how this will be handled by the DWP, another AR1 form or a full PIP2.

The "no reassess" was for ESA only and the DWP have still not announced the criteria for this.
