No F2F, Support group. (ESA reassessment) was created by Orangeblossom
I have got this reply to my email from Maximus after they have been taking since April to deal with my reassessment.

I can advise you that we have now completed your referral to us, and have provided advice to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) without the need for you to undergo a face to face assessment on this occasion. Your benefit file has been returned to the DWP Decision Maker, who will now review all of the available information, decide on your entitlement to benefit and notify you of the outcome of your claim in due course.

The DWP do not notify us of the outcome of any benefit claim, so if you have not heard from the DWP in the next few weeks, you can contact them on : 0345 608 8545 to enquire about the status of your claim.

Does this sound like I will stay in the support group? as I understand they need to do a F2F to say you are fit for work?

As an aside they seemed to reply to an email sent to my MP. so possibly the Mp forwarded it to them? In any case it seemed to help speed things up a little. In case this if help to other members dealing with delays.

As you say, you cannot be found Fit for Work without attending a face to face assessment, so the recommendation is either for the WRAG or the Support Group.

A couple of things which helped me with this process and may help others:

I kept in touch with Maximus via email. So they were able to tell me they had contacted my GP for further info- then I was able to chase the GP on this, then I asked for progress, which helped as they asked their assessors to progress it when it was taking ages.

After my letter about the support group I rang DWP and they are going to send me out the copy of the ESA85A report about my SG category. So for next time I can know the grouping and makes it easier - can also keep this for future PIP reassessment in case a copy helps there.

Husband helped with filing stuff in two car files, one for PIP and one for ESA to keep all consistent and less stressful.
